WHO WE ARE, WHAT WE DO, AND WHY WE DO IT.

Orange Screw™ is a family owned business based in White Salmon, WA in the heart of the Columbia River Gorge. We are a family of active outdoor enthusiasts with backgrounds in business and design. If you have ever experienced a tent stake or ground anchor fail in the wind or rain, you will understand why we wanted to create a better product.

We believe that manufacturing useful and long-lasting products in the United States is vital to the economic and social health of our local community and nation. We are proud to manufacture Orange Screw™ ground anchors in Vancouver, Washington out of recycled materials.

DEVELOPED AND TESTED IN THE WINDY COLUMBIA RIVER GORGE

It's windy here, really windy. Wind is the main enemy of any ground anchor or tent stake. You can count on Orange Screw™ ground anchors to keep your stuff where you put it in any weather.

Our patented helical shape was refined by years of prototyping in varying soil and weather conditions. The final design has incredible holding power with the smoothest insertion and removal of any ground anchor we have tested

HOW WE GIVE BACK

At Orange Screw, we love to get outside and play! We also strive to be good stewards of the earth. We are proud that our products are made in the United States from recycled materials and we are very grateful to be able to give back to organizations which work diligently to protect our natural resources, especially water.

This year, we are contributing to these three non-profits in appreciation for their tremendous efforts in protecting and restoring access to clean water ... for all.

A HUGE thank you to Rivers for All, Columbia River Keeper, and American Whitewater.

The mission of Rivers for All is to increase river access among local, under-served populations through low-cost, river-focused adventures that deepen connection to local watersheds and build leadership in our communities.

Columbia Riverkeeper’s mission is to protect and restore the water quality of the Columbia River and all life connected to it, from the headwaters to the Pacific Ocean.

Founded in 1954, American Whitewater is a national non-profit with a mission to conserve and restore America's whitewater resources and to enhance opportunities to enjoy them safely.
