Posi-Lock™ cord is a twist on traditional parachute cord. We have created a super strong core using many individual strands of polyester yarn. The outer sheath has a bumpy surface texture that is created with a blend of polyester and polypropylene yarns woven in a proprietary pattern.

Classic parachute cord, also known as p-cord or para-cord, is a lightweight nylon rope that was originally used for the suspension lines on parachutes. The material is smooth and stretchy. This might be good for a parachute but it's not ideal when it comes to tent guylines, bear bags, clotheslines, or other uses around the home or camp. Our goal was to create a lightweight and ultra durable cord that did not stretch when wet. No more saggy rainfly in the morning! The bumpy texture excels in knot retention but is still easy to untie when it's time to pack up and go home.
